about

“RIVIERA” is the title of the highly anticipated fourth album by Brazilian singer-songwriter TOCO, who, after ten years studded with various collaborations with different artists, returns with a project that confirms his remarkable talent as a composer and performer. "RIVIERA" is the aesthetic synthesis of the artist's many facets, capable of creating true musical mosaics that mix pop lightness, poetic lyricism, longing, joy and pain. The light-dark balance, already evident in his previous albums, “Instalação do Samba”, “Outro Lugar”, and “Memoria”, is enriched as always thanks to the production of friend and musical partner Stefano Tirone, known as S-Tone Inc. This collaboration further strengthens the fellowship of the duo capable of brushing magical sounds on the different themes proposed.
The title “RIVIERA” is a fitting tribute to two places very dear to Toco: Riviera is The São Paulo neighbourhood where Toco spent his childhood, while the Ligurian Riviera is where Toco lived for a long time in Italy. Two opposite shores and cultures that will prove fundamental in the formation of the artist.
